The wild places you will visit with us are not a backdrop. They are living systems, home to animals and communities that depend on each other. Tourism done well can protect them. Tourism done carelessly can harm them. We choose to do it well.
That starts with the places we recommend. We prefer lodges and camps that employ and train local people, that invest in conservation, that manage water, waste and energy thoughtfully and that treat their neighbours as partners. It continues with the experiences we design, such as gorilla trekking and chimpanzee tracking, where permit revenue supports rangers and veterinary work, and community visits, where guests meet people on terms of respect rather than spectacle.
We also invite you to take part if you wish. Some guests carry school or medical supplies for local projects, others visit a conservation initiative, and some choose to make an additional donation. Whatever you decide, we will help you do it in a way that genuinely helps rather than creates dependency.
