KaribuLuxury safaris for Australian travellers

Africa, arranged for Australians by people who live it.

Gorillas in misty forest. Migration herds crossing golden rivers. A private veranda above the Cape winelands. We design luxury journeys to the wild heart of Africa, and we take care of everything in between.

Hadithi yetuOur story in brief

Some travel companies try to cover the whole world. We chose a smaller, richer canvas.

Wild places. Beautifully arranged.

Wild Tours Africa was created for Australians who want more from Africa than a checklist of animals. We are based on the continent itself, in East Africa, which means the guides, lodge owners, pilots and park rangers who shape your journey are our colleagues and friends, not names in a database. When a gorilla family moves to a new part of the forest, when the river crossings begin early, when a favourite camp quietly opens a new suite, we hear about it first.

Every journey we design begins with a conversation and a blank page. There are no templates here. We ask about the way you like to travel, the moments you hope to remember, the pace that suits you and the little things that make a holiday feel effortless, and then we build something that fits you exactly. From the moment you leave Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth until the moment you walk back through your own front door, someone who knows Africa well is looking after you.

We are not trying to be the biggest. We are trying to be the one you remember.

Your journey, chapter by chapter

How we work
  1. 01

    The first chapter

You tell us about the trip you are imagining, who is coming and how you like to travel. No obligation, no pressure.

  2. 02

    We design

We sketch your journey in detail, with the lodges, the guides, the flights and the pace, and send it with photographs and notes.

  3. 03

    We refine it together

As many times as it takes. When it feels right, we confirm the details and the hard work is in capable hands.

  4. 04

    Before you leave

A thorough pre departure guide, from visas and vaccinations to packing and tipping.

  5. 05

    On safari

Our team in Africa is on call, and your guides and hosts know your interests and celebrations.

  6. 06

    Welcome home

We would love to hear your stories. They help shape the journeys of the travellers who follow you.

Your Africa is waiting.

Tell us what you are dreaming of, even if it is only half formed. We will listen, share some ideas and sketch the journey with you, with no obligation and no pressure.
